This book is all about YOU, and YOU, and YOU!
This book is all about YOU, and YOU, and YOU!

This has turned into QUITE the project- and I’m LOVING every minute of it! I’m privy to all the stories! I get to be the “board lord!” We’ve got some ‘heavy hitters’ on board- but each of us, individually has made a MARK in our industry, which makes us ALL ‘HEAVY HITTERS’.

I’m having my son illustrate this. He will offer a graphic design, to match your story. OR?? He has to clean his room every day… I’m sure he’ll choose YOUR STORY.  I’ve got lots of you completed, but I’m still missing certain things, like your first gig, and where you are today… The horror stories are what’s gonna’ blast this baby outta’ the park! LOL!  We aslo still need your friends, hell… I still have to get my DAD’S story!

Please come forward with three things:

1. Your first radio gig

2. Your worst radio nightmare!

3. Where you are today.

Remember- Iwant to give a portion of this to the Make a Wish Foundation. It’s VERY important to me to do this.

    1. College radio, KCMA-FM San Francisco (doesn’t exist now); first paying radio gig was KEAR-FM San Francisco and its radio network facilities.

    2. Prepping/editing the 2:55 AM newscast on a Monday middle of the night, putting my head down in front of the control board at 2:40AM, waking up at 3:04 AM — and NO one called!

    3. I’m sitting in my Marietta, GA home studio downstairs voicing TV affiliates, Country radio stations, cable including CNN, GAC and HDNet, narrations, commercials, voice of the CMA Awards since 1996 — whatever I do that’s somehow keeping me too busy to golf these days. But I know I’m very blessed — and I am grateful!
