‘Home Depot’ man – saves my Life!

One man from Home Depot, changed my life because he knew how to Fix things!

You are here: Home / Robin Marshall / ‘Home Depot’ man – saves my Life!

July 16, 2010 //  by Robin//  Leave a Comment

Let me tell you what brought me there in the first place:  My kids wanted to paint their rooms.  I sweated bullets throughout the whole ordeal! “WATCH the CEILING! CAREFUL OF THE WOOD FLOORS!… etc.”  They finally finished, I breathed a sigh of relief, packed up the left over paint in garbage bags, smiling… took one step outside my house with the garbage and the bags BROKE!  Blue Paint spilled all over my front stoop!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  I was fit to be tied!

I decided Home Depot was my answer.  I walked in, with trepidation, and there he was!  He was my ‘dream man!’  He even used these words: “Home Depot, is all About CUSTOMER SERVICE!”   I was in SHOCK! Who says this??

I had my list with me, of all the things I needed to FIX- and he took me by the hand and told me what I needed and how to DO it! My own personal GENIE! At one point, I even asked him, “How do you KNOW all of this stuff?!” I wanted to take him home with me. SERIOUSLY!  Wouldn’t YOU??

A man, that offers Total customer service, and KNOWS what he’s talking about?  Paleeeeeeze- it’s a ‘Given!’  He spoke with a French accent, and his name was Jose- no… I don’t get that- but who cares??  He not only told me all that I needed to Know… but he shook my hand when we were all done! OMG. This man was the closest thing to perfection that I’d ever come to… I found myself in need of deep breathing.   He has Now raised the bar. Charlotte now has a new contendor!  I’m serious! I’m in love with his service!!! I find myself wondering about his opionions on what I cook! How I clean! How I parent! I’m semi- ‘out of control!!!’ But I admit It!’ That’s my saving grace.  I admit it.  It’s my endearing quality…in case you’ve been wondering. 😉  Now… you know! I tell the truth, and figure THAT gives me a Win!  Who’m I kidding?:-)
