A LOT happens in one journey. It’s like I have a sign on my back that says, “YOU’RE the ONE!”
Let’s start with the alarm clock. We are all in DENIAL when that thing goes off! We think, “that can’t be for ME?” I didn’t see my husband stir… so reality set in.
Got on the train, which is like a reality show in itself. I play a game with myself: How many times will I have to change my seat?? Today it was packed, so I was stuck. Guy behind me made so many noises with his throat and nose, that I thought for sure I’d toss it before I got to Penn Station. Then there was the little girl 6 seats up who thought she was Shirley Temple, or a young Miley Cyrus, singing…talking… jibber jabber, I’m suprised she didn’t break out her tap shoes and do a jig!!!
I walk from Penn to Soho and back every time I’m on the air, and love listening to my iPod. I get so lost in the music… and today the battery died. So? I kept hearing that little ‘train girl’ singing “ninty nine bottles of beer on the wall…” and it got me ALL THE WAY TO WORK! Sheesh! Glad to be hear today! LOL!
