I get that- do you? She’s a single mom, not a beautiful 20 year old, and that part just didn’t fit with the screaming girls that loved the adorable Lee! It’s too bad, but the show is about the best fitting Image for the public to consider their Idol.
America chose. Not me? She was the better Talent- he was the better Image. I hate to admit it- but it’s true.
He’s single, gorgeous, sincere, sings with passion, and he’s humble. She’s single, a mom, an underground musician, passionate, a bit talkative, sincere and one HELL of a singer!

Either way, they’ll all be hugely successful! She’s still the winner in MY mind. Not saying America got it wrong, IMAGE-YES, TALENT-NO.
BUT! It was the best American Idol we’ve ever seen! Tell the truth: Didn’t Paula make you a nervous wreck? I was scared to hear what was gonna’ come out of her mouth! LOL!
Seeing Alanis with Crystal- made me realize how stupid I’d been. THAT was HER IDOL! I hadn’t recognized that prior. Gave me the chills. Seeing both contestants with Joe Cocker- and looking at the awe written all over Lee’s face, … holding my breath to see if Joe could hit that note… every hair stood up on my body when he did! I actually stood up and clapped! Hahaha! Christina- omg. Michael McDonald, no words to describe, Janet- we could hear Michael filtering through with every word she sang. Did you see how she padded her hips?? VERY cool!
All in all- I LOVED IT! I will be first in line to buy ALL of their CD’s this year!

The show last night was phenominal. I just wonder if any one under 30 could appreciate it as mcuh as their older brethern. Joe Cocker, Michael McDonald, Christina. This is nirvana to me. I wanted them to sing more. Crystal with Alanis was amazing-amazing. It just showed the talent of Crystal and Alanis acknowledged it. Robin-Casey. Calm down. Great guitarist not bad voice, no personality. Come on.
I am the first time on this site and am really enthusiastic about and so many good articles. I think it’s just very good.
